“It is more difficult to live, than to die!”

Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) are thus coined because they are not supposed to be produced by the human body.

A deficit of those is a common etiology of a huge palette of disorders.

The nutrition of modern humans is largely deficient in EFA, because of the paucity of raw vegetal oils in the regime.

Introduction by physicians of olive oil in industrialized society since 50 years reduced and even eliminated some diseases, such as for instance the infra-renal aortic aneurysm.

Despite little variation in food because of homogenization of communities, many individuals remain free of any complaints.

This fact throws doubt on the interpretation that the organism does not produce EFA. And probably also every organ is to some extent responsible for its internal need of such.

There are many examples in nature, but just one for instance is the production of vitamin C by goats, and its high content in their milk.

Hence, kidney diseases are no exception, and we can imagine that cystic kidneys, and medullary-sponge kidneys are the result of gluing of tubules triggered by some inflammatory factor, and failing maintenance of integrity of wall membranes, because of such a deficit in EFA.

There is a multitude of inflammatory factors, some of which are excess of meat intake from mammals (less so with Poultry and even less with fish).

For vegetarians such ones are represented by Gluten and Lectins.

Other kidney disorders probably concerned by a similar mechanism of loss of integrity of wall membranes are deficits of ion exchanges, such as for instance excessive loss of salts.

Thus, you can probably improve odds by adding EFA to one’s food, and avoiding inflammatory factors!
