Molded Rye Bread and Tooth Caries

Records from dentistry, more than 50 years old, witness about paucity in teeth caries, from a Swiss region (Canton Valais/Wallis), where people would have been consuming molded rye bread for centuries;

Of course, before introducing fast glucids, and sweet products in alimentation of this population, and changing thus way of living of their ancestors.

This refers to a time before advertising for mouth hygiene with daily tooth brushing.

Which would mean, that mold in one’s meals influences germs in one’s mouth, and possibly could make teeth brushing obsolete. (?)
