Salt
As precious as water on Earth, this element is a main component of oceans and seas.
In mountain areas, where it was rare, whole populations were dying because of lack of it.
Hence the words saldo and soldier originate.
We know a lot about this topic, but Mother Nature has not finished delivering her secrets and leaving us in dismay.
In recent years it has become evident that sugars promote cancer, while salt unfolds a protective reaction.
Also, probably by strengthening immunity salt fights infections of all sorts.
Here it becomes evident that our medical science has misled public opinion for many decades.
Many advocates of a low salt regime persist between physicians.
While science proves clearly that our daily salt intake is insufficient.
The Na/K pump on such a regime has to release huge amounts of K out of cells, those become impoverished and the whole body- weaker.
But here comes the most sensible question: – How can this be achieved?
Because pitfalls are many, arterial hypertension, atherosclerosis, stroke, heart infarction…
I wonder whether some of you remember Alain Bombard.
This is the French who crossed the Atlantic on a dinghy. All alone!
This was many decades ago, an old story.
He took example on dolphins and cetaceans and survived drinking sea water.
He accustomed his body little by little, but on the trip he ate only raw fish.
And you are wondering why II am telling you old stories.
Well, this is simple! Because of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA).
Our nutrition is also deficient in those, but we need them for efficient action off the Na/K pump of the kidney.
Raw fish is rich in EFA.
And here you would ask why, so what?
Well, it is as simple as that.
I presume that a huge number of our ailments originate from this fact, and that you can treat a huge amount of disorders by reversing the odds.
And especially I think about such ones where modern medicine has no cure.
As for example infections becoming resistant to antibiotics! MRSA for instance.
